Two birthdays today

Today is a birthday for two people. One who has left us, my MUM, and another, Demetres in Athens. My Mum left us in 1997 after stomach cancer. I keep her alive in my heart and hope I am able to do that forever. She was a wonderful person. Demetres is the father of Louisa and living in Athens. I haven't seen him since Marc and Louisa married in Nov 2006 and I seem to be cut off from him. This makes me sad when I think about it as we got on so well. Perhaps one day he will be able to tell me why he has an issue with me. Life's too short, especially at our age.
